    Key Takeaways

    • Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $144.67M in outflows, ending a 5-session inflow streak.
    • Solana gained $8.83M as ether lost $14.59M, showing institutional demand is fragmenting.
    • Blackrock cut IBIT’s in-kind threshold to $1M from $25M, potentially widening ETF access.

Blackrock, Grayscale Drive $144.67M Bitcoin ETF Outflow

The week began with a change in tone. After five straight sessions of buying, bitcoin ETF investors took money off the table, with withdrawals concentrated across some of the market’s largest funds.

The selling reached ether as well. Meanwhile, solana and HYPE products found buyers, adding another layer of dispersion to institutional crypto flows.

Bitcoin Selling Spreads Across Major Funds

Bitcoin ETFs recorded $144.67 million in net outflows across five products.

Blackrock’s IBIT led the withdrawals with $53.56 million, followed closely by Grayscale’s GBTC at $52.02 million. Fidelity’s FBTC lost $40.32 million. Bitwise’s BITB posted a $28.44 million exit, while Franklin Templeton’s EZBC shed $7.38 million.

Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust was the only fund to attract fresh capital, adding $37.06 million. That inflow softened the decline, though the category still finished firmly in negative territory. Total bitcoin ETF trading value reached $2.03 billion, while combined net assets closed at $78.16 billion.

Bitcoin ETFs see 5-day inflow streak end with $144.67M outflow.

Ether ETFs also started the week with outflows, losing $14.59 million.

Blackrock’s ETHA accounted for most of the selling with a $23.77 million withdrawal. Fidelity’s FETH lost another $3.27 million. There were buyers elsewhere. Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust attracted $8.59 million, while Blackrock’s ETHB added $3.86 million.

Ether ETF trading value totaled $533.17 million. Net assets ended the session at $10.50 billion.

    Solana and HYPE Find Buyers

Solana ETFs had the strongest altcoin session, drawing $8.83 million entirely into Bitwise’s BSOL. Total trading value reached $30.93 million, with net assets closing at $905.66 million.

HYPE ETFs extended their recent recovery with $2.74 million in inflows. Bitwise’s BHYP added $1.56 million, while Grayscale’s HYPG received $1.18 million. HYPE ETF trading value totaled $5.75 million, and net assets closed at $265.47 million.

XRP ETFs reported no net creations or redemptions during the session.

Blackrock Cuts IBIT Conversion Minimum From $25M to $1M

The day also brought fresh evidence of how bitcoin ETFs are becoming easier to use for existing crypto holders.

Blackrock’s Head of Digital Assets, Robert Mitchnick, said in a Bloomberg interview that the minimum size for in-kind conversions of bitcoin into IBIT has fallen from $25 million to $1 million, from when the process first became available.

He said activity has grown over the past three quarters as Blackrock worked to make the service accessible to a broader range of investors. The firm hopes the threshold can eventually fall further.

That infrastructure matters. Lower conversion minimums could make it easier for large bitcoin holders to move assets into ETF structures without first selling into cash, widening the bridge between native crypto ownership and traditional brokerage accounts.
