    Key Takeaways

    • Blackrock and Fidelity drove $297.56M into bitcoin ETFs, ending a 3-session outflow streak.
    • Jane Street held $1B+ in bitcoin ETFs, underscoring growing institutional participation.
    • XRP, solana, and HYPE saw zero flows, leaving bitcoin and ether to lead the day’s allocation.

Bitcoin, Ether ETFs Add $328.41M as Institutional Demand Returns

The new week opened with a decisive return of capital to the largest crypto funds. Bitcoin ETFs drew nearly $300 million in a single session, led by Blackrock and Fidelity, while ether products posted a broad recovery of their own.

The strength came after a difficult end to last week, when bitcoin funds absorbed three consecutive days of redemptions.

Blackrock and Fidelity Drive Bitcoin’s Rebound

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $297.56 million across four funds, with no product reporting an outflow. Blackrock’s IBIT led the session with $160.23 million in new capital. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $111.90 million, giving the two funds more than 90% of the daily total.

ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $14.18 million, while Morgan Stanley’s MSBT brought in $11.24 million. Trading value across bitcoin ETFs reached $2.12 billion. Combined net assets closed at $77.41 billion.

The session also arrived alongside fresh evidence of institutional participation in the sector. Quantitative trading firm Jane Street disclosed more than $1 billion in U.S. spot bitcoin ETF holdings as of June 30, with about $828 million invested in Blackrock’s IBIT. The remainder was spread across products including Fidelity’s FBTC and Grayscale’s GBTC.

Harvard Management Company also maintained its IBIT position during the second quarter. The endowment reported 3,044,612 shares worth $101.4 million as of June 30, unchanged from the previous quarter after two consecutive quarters of selling.

Ether Joins the Recovery as Altcoins Stay Quiet

Ether ETFs added $30.85 million, with inflows spread across three funds. Blackrock’s ETHA accounted for most of the demand with a $25.90 million addition. Fidelity’s FETH attracted $4.27 million, while Bitwise’s ETHW received about $682,000.

No Ether ETF recorded an outflow, with total trading value reaching $459.73 million, while combined net assets closed at $10.59 billion.

Activity further down the crypto ETF market was subdued. Solana, XRP and HYPE products all recorded zero net creations or redemptions during the session.

Monday’s flow data offered a cleaner start to the week after the selling pressure seen in recent sessions. Bitcoin once again captured the bulk of institutional demand, with ether following at a smaller scale and the altcoin ETF market remaining largely on the sidelines.
